Cookies
Some Web sites store information in a small
text file on your computer. This file is called a cookie. Eventznet uses
cookies, to identify you while you are using Eventznet. These cookies do not
collect any personal information about you. They retain some login information
and transmit it back to Eventznet, when Eventznet asks for it. Nobody can
intercept these cookies.
In Eventznet, cookies are also used to keep
track of less critical but still important information, through the visitor
tracking system that is used, called WebTrendsLive. The cookie that
WebTrendsLive leaves on your computer allows Eventznet to find out if you are a
new or a returning visitor to our site. It also tells us basic system details
like the size of your screen, what browser you use and what country your locale
is set to. No personal information about you is collected through these cookies
either.
To use Eventznet, you MUST enable your system
to accept cookies from Eventznet. If you do not know how to accept cookies from
Eventznet, please
click on this link to e-mail us. In the e-mail that you
send to us, please tell us what browser and version you are using, and if you
are on a corporate network or not. If you have a firewall installed or other
protection program that you think may be preventing you from accepting cookies
from us, please let us know about that too.
